Sundays are all about relaxing and enjoying a nice cup of coffee (not to say that it shouldn't be a daily thing or anything but Sundays in particular I make sure I get that time in). And so it was that this past Sunday the weather was pleasantly nice out to actually sit outside one of my favorite coffee shops. If you haven't noticed already I'm a big coffee fan. I've always said that coffee is the one constant thing in my life that will always make me happy -no matter what. Should I keep going? I could indeed go on about my Sunday afternoon philosophy on the over indulgence of my [coffee] drinking habits but I'll stop at that and talk about my outfit choice on this Sunday afternoon. I decided to go ahead and wear a very basic outfit, and can I just say that I'm loving the whole back to basics trend I've been seeing on many pre-fall 2013 collections this season, I couldn't be happier that designers are going back to the classics for what seems to be a very promising fall season. Okay, back to my outfit choice, I decided to go for a very minimal look- denim jeans & a black blouse. I finished off the look with some leather ankle boots to dress it up a bit and my grey coat which is a bit different than my other coats (that is the cut and style are different). Dressing up basic outfits can be really easy to do, especially during winter- all you have to do is grab a nice pair of shoes & a nice coat, and you're DONE. Its that easy. Just remember its all in your shoe & coat choice, so choose wisely. And just in case anybody was wondering, my one current obsession- as of right now (apart from drinking coffee) would be my Proenza Schouler case (which has not left my side since I first got it last week). I love the modern design, but could we really expect anything less from Proenza Schouler? I mean these guys thrive on the modern aesthetic of life as we know it to be in 2013... they have a good eye for designing pieces that are very much appropriate for this time.
